Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
I am an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon practicing at Spire Norwich Hospital. I was appointed to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in 2019.
I specialise in the assessment and surgical management of conditions around the shoulder. Conditions I treat arthroscopically (keyhole) include subacromial impingement, acromioclavicular joint osteoarthritis, rotator cuff tears and instability. I perform total shoulder replacements, either anatomic or reverse polarity, for glenohumeral (shoulder) arthritis. I aim to provide a day-stay service for the vast majority of procedures when appropriate.
I have a medical degree from the University of Cambridge and University College London. My higher surgical training was completed on the North East London Percivall Pott Rotation with fellowship training at Cambridge University Hospitals.
Weekly consulting hours
Consultations are held weekly at Spire Norwich Hospital, an accredited private hospital offering modern diagnostic facilities and streamlined pathways for joint preservation and surgical treatment.
